A healthy body houses a healthy mind. Thus to promote student interest in games and sports, many sports activities are conducted periodically. The college provides sporting facilities to students for cricket, volleyball, table tennis and many other games and sports. An annual sports fest is also conducted by the college where various sporting competitions are carried out. This develops a healthy competitive spirit among the students and fosters a feeling of cooperation among students of various departments as well. Sports play an important role in the physical development of the Students. The college teams of Football, Basketball, Volleyball and Cricket participate in various local and national level tournaments and ranks the higher positions.
Cultural Events
The Cultural activities at ASHOKA aim at promoting the creativity and talent of the students and sensitizing them towards the rich and diverse culture of the India. We are actively engaged in providing the students with an extensive range of cultural and co-curricular activities. Keeping in line with this commitment our college organizes Annual Techno- Cultural Fest Synergy known as “ABHYUDAY” which is usually organized in the month of February. It is the much awaited one week festival with multiple events in dance; music; fashion, drama, literary and various other technical and cultural fields which offers a plethora of opportunities to the students to showcase their talent. Renowned artistes are also invited to perform during fest.
In addition, there are celebrity shows which add color to student’s life in campus. Some of them that have taken place in the past are by famous singer of Aashiqui 2 ANKIT TIWARI and comedy show by PRATAP FAUJDAR and SUNIL PAUL and many more. There are departmental and synergized acts and programmes to make our students full of rainbow colored aura.

ASHOKA institute of technology and management (Ashoka) came into existence on February 22; 2010 located at heart of the holy city Varanasi at the distance of 3.5 km from the Varanasi Cantt Railway Station and is also near to the place of enlightenment of Lord Buddha, Sarnath (Rishipattan) at the distance of 1.5 km. The institute’s location adds vibrancy of the campus and makes it an ideal place for learning. It is safe, secure and provides excellent academic environment.
